Dax's research interests lie in human physiology, microbiology, and how these fields often interact with each other. Naturally, this interest lead him to the field of Cystic Fibrosis, as people with Cystic Fibrosis often get chronic pulmonary bacterial infections. He is currently invested in researching ion transport within epithelial tissues related to the pathological cause of Cystic Fibrosis.
